It is my mission to make sure that our program is truly your Home Away From Home. As a social worker I know the value of feeling like you belong. As a participant here, you are a member of our community and our goal is to enhance all aspects of your life, medical, social, and cultural. We get to know each participant as an individual and provide the care you need in our warm and friendly space while you are having fun. By offering a diverse calendar each month, participants are empowered to choose how they spend their day based on their preferences. I am very proud of our staff and how often they go above and beyond to put a smile on participants's faces. The connections made between staff and participants are genuine and noticeable. It is thrilling to be the leader of such an innovative program.

I am proud and excited to be part of a team so committed and creative. Every avenue is explored to maintain freedom, dignity and well being for each member of our very diverse population. Thanks to our relationships with the many agencies and professionals who service our community we are able to coordinate care plans and support systems that carry over into the participant's home. As a nurse there can not be any greater reward then to answer "yes, everyone can go on the field trip" Our staff will provide compassionate assistance to overcome any medical, physical or emotional obstacles that might prevent a participant from enjoying a positive experience. The daily bonuses come from all of the laughs, hugs and triumphs we all share at Home Away From Home.
